Bangladesh relies heavily on the textile industry. But when Covid lockdowns forced the closure of many retailers, a surplus of stock accumulated in the textile factories and factory workers suffered. Enter Lost Stock. This Scottish company launched an initiative where UK residents can order a mystery box of clothing. The net result: factory workers are profiting from the surplus of merchandise and money is distributed to families in need. Through their partnership, Lost Stock and the SAJIDA Foundation are “spreading health, happiness and dignity for all.”
